The Aerospace Association of Prince Edward Island (APEI) is an incorporated non-profit entity representing the interests of the aerospace sector in the Province. Working with its member companies and stakeholders, APEI strives to foster business development and promotional opportunities for the betterment of the aerospace cluster in the Province.
APEI also works collaboratively with its regional umbrella organization, the Atlantic Alliance of Aerospace & Defence Associations, in pursuit of joint regional marketing and sector development initiatives.
Collective sales for the aerospace cluster in the Province reached an all time high in 2009 with revenues exceeding $355 million, representing a 12% increase in comparison to the previous year. Identified as one of the key pillars of the Island’s Prosperity Strategy, the sector is well positioned for future growth and success.
Customers of Prince Edward Island’s aerospace industry have come to expect excellent value in a product/service mix that competes successfully on the global industry stage. Sector capabilities within the Province focus largely on manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul services, and design/engineering. The sky is no limit for Aerospace PEI!
